  u.s. sen. bill nelson said monday the bush administration last year told him and other senators that iraq not only had weapons of mass destruction, but they had the means to deliver them to east coast cities.

  nelson, d-tallahassee, said about 75 senators got that news during a classified briefing before last october's congressional vote authorizing the use of force to remove saddam hussein from power.

  Bendr, Russell predicted or rather calculated that 1914 would be a marked date. He was under the assumption they would be taken to heaven. Of course, there were other dates in which it was predicted they would go to heaven. Many moons ago, I remember reading, "Faith On the March" by H. L.McMillian and he was anticipating of going heaven in 1914 but it never happened to his dismay. He said, God had more work for the saints.

  My question, is 1914 a significant date? And why your answer.

  my brother sent me this.

  (see below) i have not been associated w the religion for at least 7 years and have made it clear to him and all of my family that i do not intend to ever be a part of it again.

  he emailed this to my entire family (all witnesses me being the exception).

  Yeru, it's obvious that rulers like Saddam are 'windbags' when it comes to a real fight. I really thought that Saddam had some evil tricks up his sleeve when it came to a war against the US, but he didn't. I envisioned him strategically planting these chemical devices underground and setting them off with a push of the button when the army trek into the periphery of the city.

  Let's face it, if a war is inevitable, wouldn't these rulers use the best weapons on hand to defend themselves? I mean, he had tweleve years to prepare for any eventual war! Something is awry about this picture. He couldn't have been that cock-sure of himself, if he was, he's a lot dumber than I gave him credit for. Apparently, he only had 'ball's to use these weapons against his own people or other groups that he had advantage over except the US.

  I have no qualms about removing dictators, in fact, were trying to get a few kick out of office in my home town and only next year's election results will determine who stays in or out. These people have only one interest - SELF!

  also, many thanks to all the moderators.. what the coming year has in store for this forum, well, only time will tell.

  hopefully, as it has been going of late, it will 'mature' to another level.

  I'll go along with Maverick's suggestion. Think about it. Your dad needs to see his childish behaviour! The problem is, will he recognize it and admit to it? I'm a betting person, I would bet, no. In situations like this, it would make me happy to lose.

  He was on the O'Reilly Factor Show the other day, defending MJ. Let me tell you a true story. I stayed in a rented place and the windows to this place were periodically being busted. Finally, one day, I happened to be home and I heard the smashing of windows. I chased this kid for blocks and finally caught him. My wife identified the youngster as being our newspaper boy. I called his mother and told her the story. The boy insisted it wasn't him that broke the windows. I mean he lied, lied, lied and was caught red handed.

  I don't know MJ's case. I'm only telling you what I experienced and take it from there. When all the facts come out in court, then, the jurors will decide. In the meantime, the jury is out.
